The Remote Expert, led by Emma Heuston, is a virtual law firm ideal for Virtual Assistants. If you are looking to align expectations with your client, avoid scope creep and get paid, then our help and advice is specially designed for you.

We are proud to launch our first two products exclusively designed to document the Virtual Assistant/ Client relationship:

Customised Agreement

Customised Virtual Assistant Service Agreement

A Virtual Assistant (VA) and a client enter into a contract using a Service Agreement.

At the Remote Expert we specialise in all things remote and virtual work. Our Founder, Emma Heuston, has designed our customised Service Agreement in consultation with Virtual Assistants to cover:

  • Payment terms and interest on late fees

  • Detailed scope of work to avoid scope creep;

  • Turn around time on projects;

  • Insurances;

  • The number of edits allowed;

  • Communication methods between the VA and client

  • Data and cyber security

  • Confidentiality; and

  • The use of 3rd party platforms.

Why get the customised version?

No VA/ Client relationship is the same. The customised Service agreement is a completely customised form taking in the nuance of each unique relationship, down to the way we refer to each of the parties in the Agreement.

The customised version also has the option of an affordable monthly 12 month subscription so the VA can customise each and every unique contract with a client, meaning there is less room for error and contract disputes.

The Customised version is available for an early adopter price of $399.00* plus an optional subscription package of $33.00 per month for 12 months.

[Prices will rise on 1 December 2019]

Template Virtual Assistant Service Agreement

The Template version is a more generic version of our customised Service Agreement.

A Virtual Assistant (VA) and a client enter into a contract using a Service Agreement.

The Template Service Agreement has also been designed in consultation with Virtual Assistants to cover:

  • Payment terms and interest on late fees

  • Detailed scope of work to avoid scope creep;

  • Turn around time on projects;

  • Insurances;

  • The number of edits allowed;

  • Communication methods between the VA and client

  • Data and cyber security

  • Confidentiality; and

  • The use of 3rd party platforms.

But it is less individual and may take some amendment by the VA.

The Template document is a “master” document that the VA can amend each time they onboard a new client. While it is a lower price point than the customised version, the document is far less customised and there is not a subscription option available.

The Customised version is available for an early adopter price of $299.00*
